1. Nature of Services
The services offered are psychological, rehabilitation counselling and short support sessions, conducted online. These sessions are intended to support emotional well-being, self-understanding, and coping, and do not replace medical, psychiatric, or emergency services.
2. Professional Credentials & Scope
Services are provided by qualified mental health professional. Where applicable, practitioner comply with relevant professional standards and ethical guidelines under Indian laws, including the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017 and tele-health frameworks.
3. Eligibility
Clients must be 18 years or older to independently access services. For individuals below 18 years, parental or guardian consent is required.
4. Booking & Payments
- All sessions must be booked in advance.
- Payment is required in full to confirm your appointment.
- Bookings are considered confirmed only after successful payment.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled with prior notice (recommended: at least 24 hours).
- Late cancellations or missed sessions without prior notice may not be eligible for refund or rescheduling.
- Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is kept confidential. However, confidentiality may be ethically or legally limited in situations such as:
- Risk of harm to self or others
- Abuse or neglect
- Legal obligations or court orders
7. Online Sessions & Technical Issues
- Sessions are conducted via secure online platforms.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a private space.
- In case of technical disruptions, efforts will be made to reconnect or reschedule.
8. Scope & Limitations
- Therapy is a collaborative process and outcomes may vary.
- No specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed.
- The therapist may refer you to other professionals (e.g., psychiatrist, medical practitioner) if required.
9. Client Responsibility
- Clients are encouraged to participate actively and honestly.
- Providing accurate and relevant information helps in better understanding and support.
10. Intake Form & Communication
- Clients may be required to complete an intake form before sessions begins to get the session access link. This helps therapist design the upcoming session as per the client’s need.
- Important communication, including session links and updates, will be shared via email.
11. Emergency & Crisis Situations
This service is not suitable for crisis or emergency situations.
If you are experiencing immediate distress or risk, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline.
12. Professional Boundaries
- Communication outside sessions is limited to scheduling and administrative purposes unless otherwise agreed.
- Therapy sessions will begin and end as scheduled.
13. Consent
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and consent to participate in psychological therapy.
